Every pedal is built by hand in small batches, so things can work a little differently compared to larger retailers. This page is here to keep everything clear and straightforward, from how your order is shipped to what to expect if something goes wrong.

Do you ship internationally? What shipping services do you use?

All orders are shipped using Royal Mail services.

  • UK orders: Tracked 24
  • International orders: International Tracked

Tracking details will be provided once your order has shipped.

What warranty do you offer?

All pedals come with a 2-year warranty.

If your pedal develops a fault, please get in touch via the Contact page on this website or via Instagram. A detailed description, along with photos or video, is extremely helpful in diagnosing the issue quickly.

If a return is agreed:

  • Please package the pedal securely.
  • Use a tracked shipping service.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Incorrect power supply usage
  • Drop or impact damage
  • Liquid damage
  • Internal modification

If a fault is determined to be user-related, a repair fee may apply and return shipping will be the customer’s responsibility.

Do you accept returns?

If you change your mind, you have 14 days from receiving your order to notify me that you wish to return it, in line with UK consumer law.

The pedal must be returned in its original condition and packaging. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

If the pedal shows signs of excessive use beyond what would be expected from testing, a deduction may be made from the refund.

Custom or personalised orders are non-refundable unless faulty.

Why are pedals often sold out?

Buckell Instruments is a one-person operation. Each pedal is built in small batches, and once they’re gone, they’re gone until the next release.

Releasing pedals in batches ensures every unit meets my standards and keeps things fair for everyone.

When will the next batch be available?

I’m almost always building, but as a solo builder it’s difficult to provide exact restock dates in advance.

That’s where new batch announcements are posted first.

Will I have to pay customs or tariffs?

For international orders, customs charges or import taxes may apply depending on your country. These are the customer’s responsibility. Please check your local regulations before ordering.

For US customers, applicable tariffs should be calculated at checkout to help avoid unexpected fees.
